Hi, I'm Jade! I'm a proud 2021 Howard University graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Education with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I recently moved to Chicago, IL to start my career in tech working in advertising at Tik Tok.
Outside of my 9-5, I am the founder of The Ninth Semester (@theninthsemster): a early career resources blog for Gen Z where I provide tips, advice, and job postings for college students and recent graduates. Within the past 18 months, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with amazing companies such as Amazon, Handshake, Jopwell, Riddle & Bloom, and more to bring paid campus rep and internship opportunities to my audience of almost 50K (!!!!). I absolutely love the work that I do and I can't wait to continue to expand and help Gen Z get paid and hired!
When I'm not working or creating content, I love playing The Sims, cooking new recipes, hanging out with my girls, talking about my current fav show/movie/book, and trying new restaurants!
