Mikayla Orange (She/Her)
Software Engineer at Google

I'm a 2021 graduate of Howard University with a B.S. in Computer Science and a frontend software engineer at Google.

While at Howard, I was a Capstone, a four year academic scholarship program. I also served as a teaching assistant and tutor to improve computer science fundamentals to over 100 students throughout my matriculation, served on the NSBE e-board, and received numerous fellowship and networking opportunities

Since graduating I have moved to the Bay Area to pursue my fulltime role, served as a teaching for over 300 Howard University freshmen and sophomores through the Googler in Residence program, have participated in 5 panels discussing my pathway to tech as a Black woman, and have served as a mentor to students to improve study habits and building skills

Feel free to reach out to me about anything!
